How commission is calculated

Your 7% is calculated on the net commissionable value of each order, not the total order amount. Shipping fees, GST and product costs are removed first, then 7% is applied to what's left.

Simple example: say a customer places a $100 order. After shipping and GST are removed, the commissionable amount might be around $65. Your 7% is calculated on that $65, not the $100. So when your sale notification arrives showing a $100 order and a $4.55 commission, it's still exactly 7% of the net amount — it just doesn't look that way at first glance.

Your partner portal shows the exact commissionable amount for every order so it's always transparent.
