You're in. Let's make something good.
Welcome to the crew. This page has everything you need to film a reel that actually performs. Read it once, keep the tab open while you shoot, and reach out if anything is unclear. We're backing you.
Three steps from approved to live.
Get this done in the order below and you will be filming by the end of the week.
Set up your affiliate portal
Check the email we sent you. Sign in. Add PayPal so commission lands automatically.
Film your reel
Use the brief below as a guide. Keep it authentic. Vertical 9:16 with captions in the middle third.
Send it to us first
Upload to the Google Drive folder we shared with you. We will thumbs-up before you post.
Your affiliate portal is ready.
We have sent you an email with the sign-up link. The portal is where you will see your sales tracked live and where commission lands.
Add PayPal for payouts
Once you are signed in, head to settings and add your PayPal details. Commission gets paid out to that account automatically.
Can't find the email?
Check your junk folder first. If it is not there, message us and we will resend within an hour.
Boost your reach with a Facebook Page.
Our ads perform noticeably better when your Instagram is linked to a Facebook Page with partnership ads enabled. It can be a basic page, just needs to be public.

A guide, not a rulebook.
"Stick to our values, sound like yourself, and you're already doing it right."
Everything below is here to help, not to box you in. The best reels we have ever run came from creators who brought their own personality.
Captions live in the middle third.
Not the bottom. Meta crops the top and bottom of your reel in some placements.
Middle third. Every time. Otherwise Meta crops them and we cannot run the ad.
Vertical, with your subject in the 4:5 safe area.
Film at full vertical 9:16, but compose your shot so the important bits live inside a 4:5 box in the centre.
- Film vertically at 9:16 (full screen on phones)
- Keep your face, the bottle, and any text inside the 4:5 safe area
- Natural lighting wherever possible. Avoid yellow indoor light
- Clear audio. No fans, no traffic, no music underneath
The technical stuff, distilled.
Do this
- ✓ Filmed vertically at 9:16
- ✓ Subject fits inside the 4:5 safe area
- ✓ Natural lighting
- ✓ Clear audio, no background noise
- ✓ Clean backgrounds that don't distract
- ✓ Sound naturally yourself
- ✓ Clear hook in the first few seconds
- ✓ Honest opinions
- ✓ Clean black or white captions in the middle third
Skip this
- × Horizontal or poorly cropped footage
- × Shaky filming or accidental angles
- × Dark, yellow, or shadowed lighting
- × Other brand logos visible
- × Beauty effects or flashy transitions
- × Sounding scripted or salesy
- × Long intros or slow build-ups
- × Text covering faces
- × Captions placed too low (Meta crops them)
Hook, message, takeaway.
Keep it punchy. The best-performing reels follow this exact shape.
The hook
Open with the thing that stops the scroll. A strong line, a question, a visual reveal. Make them want the next 10 seconds.
The message
Show the features in your own words. Dual-action lid. Protected straw. How long it keeps ice. Talk like you are showing it to a mate.
The takeaway
Why this one. What you would say to a friend who is about to buy a bottle. Honest, specific, short.
Angles that work.
Use one of these as a starting point if you are not sure where to land. Mix and match. Or bring your own. We are more than happy to test more than one angle as ads if you want to film two.
The comparison
Compare The Aussie Pal with the bottle you used to use. Focus on what is better here, not what is wrong with the old one. Positive framing wins.
In the car
Sit in the driver's seat, bottle in hand. Open with "Just got the Aussie Pal, here's my honest take." Walk through the features as you go: the dual-action lid, the ice still solid from this morning, the matte finish. Like you're showing a mate.
In the kitchen
Morning routine, school lunches, prepping for a hike. Show the bottle being filled, used, lived with. Real life angle.
Got a rogue idea?
Pitch it. If it feels honest and on-brand, we are usually in. The best reels we have run came from creators going off-brief in a way we could not have asked for.
Features worth calling out.
Mention these three on camera. Use your own words. Don't read the names off a script, just show what they actually do for you in real life.
Dual-action lid
Sip from the straw side, chug from the other. Switch without unscrewing. Our most-talked-about feature for a reason.
Protected straw
Built-in straw cover keeps dust, germs, and anything else airborne off the straw between sips. Worth showing on camera.
36+ hour ice retention
Vacuum-sealed double-wall stainless steel. Ice stays solid longer than most fridges. Great visual proof if you film overnight.
Reels that have actually worked.
We have dialled in what performs best as a paid ad. The reels below are the format that consistently delivers. Watch the hooks, watch the framing, watch the captions placement. Then make it yours.
Sending us your content.
Quick and simple. Don't post anywhere yet. We always review first to make sure the framing and audio are right for paid ads.
